The current COVID-19 dilemma and the global situation in the world are precarious for many people, especially for the benefit and justices of women’s development. As the economy suffers worldwide, gender inequalities and development priorities turn out to be adversarial for most women and girls, due to the deep-seated social mechanisms which put women at a less preferential positions or a lack of political voice. In Shanghai, the Shanghai Women’s Federation establishes itself as a forerunner for women’s rights, by minimizing the impact of COVID-19 on women, striving for genuine gender equality, ensuring that women advance at the forefront of our times and enhancing global cooperation with the Shanghai model of women’s empowerment.
2020年的新冠疫情和全球局势使得整个世界人群的福祉和利益遭受挑战，尤其对于女性而言，她们因为相对于男性的社会能见度、政治地位的不同，更容易在此刻难上加难。在上海，上海市妇联成为女性的娘家人，促进性别平等落到实处，推动上海乃至整个长三角的妇女走在时代前列，并通过上海气派推动中国女性风采走出国门，创造全球妇女事业合作的上海模式。
In 2020, as we are celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of Shanghai Women’s Federation; in 2021, we are joining in the momentum by commemorating the 100th year birthday of the Chinese Communist Party, therefore, we choose to edit a holistic and inclusive action book, toolbox and yellow pages to sum up all the activities that have consolidated us stronger as a group and keep the momentum of marshaling the Shanghai’s best gender expertise and resources to define a better future for women.
2020年，当我们庆祝上海市妇女联合会70周年，2021年我们庆祝建党百年，在这两个重要的历史时刻，上海妇联人想通过一本行动手册、一本推介优秀女性社会组织的发展黄页、一个涉及各行各业妇女女性社会组织发展的案例工具包，让我们能够更强大地联系和组织在一起，一起面对前路的困难和挑战，定义未来的女性篇章。
We are looking forward to connecting both rural and urban, national and international, public and private, entrepreneurial activists and officials, to advance the courses of common concern, in order to face the intense challenges and concerns ahead.
